Sharp microwave. Approximately 6 to 8 years old. In very good shape cosmetically, except for one small spot of paint loss and rust on the lower left in photo 2. Only took outside for photos. The yellow on the handle, etc are reflections.
Over the winter it would run while the door was OPEN. Did some research and replaced its 3 door switches with identical parts as original. From Amazon, they got good reviews.
This fixed it. Until recently, when it started randomly turning itself on here and there for a couple seconds. And when in use, randomly turning off and then back on, and the timer would stop counting down.
I'm done with it, bought a new one. If you wanted to try and replace door switches again you'd also have to replace the plastic bracket that they fit into. I broke one of the small clips off the bracket and thus super glued one switch in place. I was careful, did not get glue inside the switch, etc. and there's no way the switch has moved.
