Casually ISO my next resell project and possibly a growout keeper. Two different horses, 2 different budgets.
First up: Project horse. Max budget $1500
Full disclosure, this horse will most likely be a resell project. People that know me personally generally get first dibs when I’m finished so I can keep tabs on how they’re doing.
Show me those horses you desperately want off your feed bill before winter, or simply don’t have the time to work with.
Requirements:
-Must be under 8 years old, over 2 years old
-Over 13h, under 16h
-Nothing gaited
-No pure Thoroughbreds
-Must be unstarted
Unhandled? Fine
Thin? Fine
Farrier overdue? Fine.
I’m not here to judge, I’m just here to find what I want and make a deal.
Next up, growout keeper. Budget $3500
-Under 5 years old, yearlings and weanlings welcome
-Must be built halfway decent, legs sewn on straight at the very least.
-Expected to mature to or already over 14h
-Again, nothing gaited
-Unstarted preferred, but not necessary
-Color! Bonus points for unique Appys, overo paints, and splashed white paints
-Doesn’t have to be papered, doesn’t have to be purebred.
Trying to stay within 2.5 hours of Arcade NY, but may push it a bit for the right one.
