Seeking alternative traditional mortgage options (Buffalo)

We are seeking alternative options to becoming a home owner. We don't qualify for an traditional mortage due to my Husband's SSD.
Anyone here have a property they would be willing to rent with the option to buy or perhaps another option? We'd be open to a tiny home, mobile home, cabin or any other residential dwelling. We are quite frankly sick of renting! If you can be of assistance or have a possible lead that would help please let me know. Thank you kindly!
