I purchased this guitar new in May 2022. I performed less than a dozen times in an acoustic group before moving on to larger, more rock-oriented bands, now playing electric guitar.
Great Sounding Guitar:
The Taylor 214ce offers incredible tone when either playing through a PA system or through an electric guitar amp – doing this better than any other acoustic guitar I have ever played. I believe that the tone quality is because of the design of Taylor’s acoustic guitar pickup system, the Expression System® 2 and that the system’s volume and tone controls that offer a precise, yet a wide range of control over the guitar sound when amplified.
Without amplification, the Taylor 214ce has a very powerful, yet balance tone. It is able to keep its presence known alongside a powerful singer.
Condition:
The guitar is in excellent condition, with no marks or scratches. The original hard-shell case is in good condition with minor scuff marks.
