The Squier 40th anniversary models are widely regarded as being several notches above their usual offerings, providing the classic p-bass tone at a fit and finish level comparable to more expensive Fender models. As one of the vintage colorways, this Satin Dakota Red edition features a gold pickguard and painted (non-pearlescent) fretmarkers. The entire 40th anniversary line is consistently sold-out both in stores and online, and has held value well since release.

This model is in mint condition. Sounds great across all tone settings, but there is minor fret buzz above the 12th fret; truss rod adjustment should alleviate this, but I am selling at a reduced price regardless. The finish is flawless. Strings are barely played, and I can include a cotton and leather strap for $20 if needed.
