Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily production activities to support efficient manufacturing operations.
* Lead, coach, and support team members to promote accountability, safety, and productivity.
* Monitor workflow, scheduling, staffing, and production priorities to meet customer demands.
* Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process and address issues promptly.
* Support compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and operational guidelines.
* Coordinate with maintenance, inventory, and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve output.
* Track production metrics and report performance, concerns, and improvement opportunities to management.
* Help train new employees and reinforce best practices for equipment use and work processes.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall production performance.
* Manage day-to-day problem solving to keep work moving safely and effectively.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial supervision role.
* Experience in pallet manufacturing, wood products, or a related environment is preferred.
* Forklift operating experience REQUIRED
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Working knowledge of production processes, safety practices, and quality standards.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and respond to changing needs.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
* Basic computer skills for reporting, tracking, and communication purposes.
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
