We are seeking a candidate who is mechanically skilled, well-organized, eager to learn new tasks, and exhibits a positive attitude. Most importantly, a strong commitment to safety is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From: $17-$18 per hour + weekly production bonus
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm OT available based on production needs
Work Location: Clarence, NY
Responsibilities:
* Repair or build wooden pallets
* Use of hand tools & nail gun
* Pallet quality control (QC)
* Meet daily work requirements for assigned tasks.
* Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift to ensure job safety.
* Prioritize personal and equipment safety at all times.
* Conduct pre-startup equipment checks and promptly report any issues to the Maintenance Department or General Manager.
Requirements
* Prior experience in pallet repair or building is highly preferred.
* Experience in a manufacturing facility or a similar setting is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge is beneficial, particularly the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
* Proficiency in safely and effectively using hand tools and power tools is essential.
* A keen attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work are important.
* Openness to learning new skills and adapting to evolving production demands is necessary.
* Reliable transportation is essential
