Stamped on the bottom "The Decoy Shop, Freeport, Maine, H.Heap III".
Vintage Folk Art Wooden Canadian Goose, with hollowed out center. Would look cute with a plant in it (plant not included), or candles, or flowers, etc.
It is 24” long, 5 1/4” wide, body is 4 1/2” tall, plus his neck/head which makes it 14” to the top of the head. The opening is 5 1/2” x 3” and 3” deep.
If you display it outside I would recommend under an overhang to keep it out of the weather. Would look cute on your hearth or a table.
