My mother had this set carefully wrapped and stored away at the bottom of her buffet> there are 48 pieces for a 12 seating arrangement or 2 tables of 6> it appears just like brand new and no piece has ever been used > it is marked "Victor S and Company A+ Overlay" which puts the set somewhere between the 1940s and 1960s > there are 12 diiner knives,12 table forks,12 tablespoonsand 12 soup spoons> the setis ready to be used at any table> the A+ overlay indicates heavy silver plating
