compensation: $18-20 per hour

We are hiring another CNA, (Certified Nurse's Aid) HHA (Home Heath Aid), or Nurse (LPN or RN), to join our wonderful team of Nurses to provide care to our 25 year old daughter with Cerebral Palsy. Private Care in our nicely kept home. Great work environment. 

Qualifications:

1. Experience working with developmentally challenged individuals necessary. CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN.
2. Drug free.
3. No alcohol abusers.
4. You must be dependable, trustworthy, and honest.
5. Good work ethic is necessary. If you don't show up for work, and don't call- ie no show no call, that is not a good work ethic. It happens too often with new hires.
6. You must live within a reasonable distance of Clarence/Williamsville, and have dependable transportation.

Prior experience with special needs children would be beneficial. You may be subject to background and drug testing. References required.
 
Our Daughter has Cerebral Palsy. She is in a wheelchair, is non-verbal, and is fed with a G-J tube. She is highly alert and fully cognitive of everything that is going on. She has a smile that will light up your day. She likes to interact with people and we try to let her makes choices. She weighs about 100 lbs, and is transferred with a hoyer lift ceiling track system.

Job Requirements: This is to be considered a long term employment arrangement. Requires diaper changes, administering meds through G-J tube, taking vitals (usually once a day) suctioning if needed (rarely), showers, comfort measures, light housekeeping as needed, etc. Mom is usually available at home if needed.  You can also take her to the Eastern Hills Mall, Walmart, etc. Once in a great while we will go to Lancaster Opera and see a show (maybe once or twice a year).

Starting Pay: CNA and HHA $15/hr. LPN/RN $18-20/hr.

Work Schedule: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND: SATURDAY and SUNDAY, Day shift. Starts at 7AM.

We have had Nurses stay for 11 years, 9 years, 5 years, and so forth.
