The white rails are stationary, the new brown rail folds down to exit the bed and get closer to provide care. I never needed to use the straps included, the rails hold firmly in place with just the weight of the mattress. These are suitable for double or larger beds. Padded for easy grip. As a former caregiver, I would frequently have to hold them or lean on them and the padding made a difference for me, too.
Nice family in Kenmore. We have sold many items here in the past and now have more things to offer. Most items I will bring to the garage for you to pick up as we have found in the past more people feel comfortable with that rather than coming into the house.
