In cleaning out my mother's houe this was one of my father's many collectible finds > it was wrapped away in a box > a most interesting heavily carved mahogany round piece with a a "serpent" winding its way all along the edge and an open area in the middle > the carving is intense all along the body from its scales to its protruding teeth > appears to come from a table from what is on the backside> would make a most interesting and unusual wall hanging
