Sodexo Campus Segment is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager 5 to lead the dining operions Alfred University loced in Alfred, New York. As the senior-most leader on-site, you will provide stregic direction, drive innovion, and foster strong partnerships with the university community while ensuring excellence in food quality, service, and safety.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of campus dining, including resident dining, retail outlets, and cering operions. You will serve as the primary liaison with university leadership, aligning dining services with campus goals, Sodexo standards, and contractual commitments. The General Manager 5 will lead a diverse team, champion operional excellence, and cree a positive, student-centered dining experience th supports engagement, sisfaction, and growth across the program.

• Provide stregic direction and full operional oversight for a comprehensive dining program th includes resident dining, retail outlets, and cering services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and engagement.
• Partner closely with Alfred University stakeholders to strengthen relionships, support campus initiives, and enhance the overall student experience.
• Ensure excellence in food quality, safety, sanition, and regulory compliance across all operions.
• Drive financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, labor optimizion, purchasing, and cost controls.
• Implement innovive dining solutions and marketing stregies to increase participion and sisfaction.
• Oversee cering execution for high-profile campus events, banquets, and special functions.
• Maintain alignment with Sodexo’s mission, values, and contractual commitments while championing sustainability and responsible operions.

• Proven leadership experience in large-scale food service operions—preferably higher educion or similarly complex environments.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstred success managing multi-unit operions, budgets, and P&L performance.
• Exceptional communicion, client partnership, and relionship-building skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in food safety, quality assurance, and operional compliance.
