1) Marantz AV7005 AV pre-pro, with 5 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI outputs. Has balanced and unbalanced audio outputs. Digital audio and coaxial audio outputs, etc.
Main room output is 7.1 channels (although you can connect additional subwoofers - up to 4) .
It has additional outputs for second room, which can be configured independently of the first room.
Outputs Dolby Digital, DD Plus, Dolby True HD, DTS, DTS-HD High Resolution, DTS-HD Master audio, and in addition: Dolby Prologic 2, 2x and 2z, and A-DSX, DTS Neo6, and A-DSX, Audyssey DSX, DTS 96/24, DTS Express, Neural, and Dolby Virtual.
It includes the Audyssey autocalibrating microphone and system which automatically sets up the speakers adjusting for ALL speaker and room parameters.
It offers phenomenal Marantz audio sound whether coming from vinyl records, analog tapes, CDs, SACDs, DVDs, Blue Rays, etc.
It comes with all instructions, an AM loop antenna, and the Audyssey microphone
2) To match the audio quality of the Marantz pre-pro is the other piece of the system - an Adcom GFA-7707 seven channel high current, high power, wide bandwidth 7 channel amplifier.
This one is a beast, requiring a 20 amp house outlet if you want to push it to its full potential!
It is rated at a constant (RMS) 200 watts PER CHANNEL.
Don't confuse it with other amps that claim wattage based on 2 channel use (i.e. 140 watts for 2 channels, as when you use all 7 the wattage on the channels drops to only 50 or 60). The Adcom puts a full 200 watts out on ALL 7 channels! It is continuous duty!
Each channel is totally isolated in construction, with very heavy duty components, with the amplifier weighing in a little over 78 pounds!
It has a huge headroom, with the audio outputting from all 7 speakers for much more than a few seconds when turned off.
It also comes with instructions.
I can ship these units, but only to addresses in the continental US only.
