I’m selling a 2008 Mercury Mariner with 145,255 miles. The vehicle needs an engine replacement, which is reflected in the asking price. It would make an excellent project or flip for a mechanic or someone handy.

Vehicle highlights:

• Leather interior with heated seats

• Transmission replaced in 2022 at 141,781 miles ($2,150 cost; receipt available) — only about 3,500 miles since
• Complete exhaust system replaced recently
• Body has typical rust for its age and a small dent on the bumper, but is structurally sound

A replacement engine can be sourced from a local salvage yard at a reasonable cost. I would repair and keep it myself, but I no longer use it enough to justify the investment.
