My father bought these over the years he had had been collecting > I now am cleaning out my mother's house and these were in a box in the dresser> they are absolutely "Mint" gold filled West Point cuff links > I was able to find information on them which I am including>

* These are the older KREMENTZ Cuff Links with the fixed "ovoid ball on a stem," not the more recent model with the rotating 'toggle.' SCARCE!!!
* From KREMENTZ, the famed Newark, New Jersey jeweler and long-time supplier of QUALITY Cuff Links to both the United States Military Academy at West Point as well as the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis.
* This is the OLDER Gold-filled, well-made design with the “ovoid” ball.* On the face is the crest of the USMA with Athena’s Helmet and Gladius facing to the wearer’s dexter (right) as dictated by heraldry and the uniform regulation change of 1922.
* On the border is “USMA” and the academy’s motto, “DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY.” In the lower left of the field is "WEST POINT - MDCCCII” or 1802, the year of West Point’s establishment by Congress.
* These were worn with both the “Full Dress, Parade” and the “Dress Gray” uniform jackets, both of which required the removable sized CUFFS and a sized COLLAR. (Originally the Cuffs were secured to the jacket sleeves with a pair of T-head straight pins, then later with press snaps.) These handsome KREMENTZ cuff links can also be worn with any current dress shirt with “French cuffs”.
