I am cleaning out my mother's house and my father had acquired a clock collection over the years from estate sales>this clock was still in the box he bought it in the 1980s since he dated the purchase >it is a heavily scrolled walnut mantle clock from the early 1900s> the clock is over a hundred years old and in excellent condition with no cracks or chips or missing in the woodcase> the dial reads "Ansonia Clock Company of New York"> the dial has no crazing , cracks or chips> the key is still in the clock> the scroll work is at the top ,bottom, outside and inside sides of the clock> has a flat base to rest on a mantle> this clock is an excellent example of the "Gingerbread Style" with scroll work everywhere> measures 20" long x17" wide x 5" deep
