This tin display case was bought by my father back in the 1960's and was displayed on a shelf in his office> it really was never used for anything >it has the 2 slots for the spools of thread > there are a few wear spots on the front> considering that it dates back to the 1920's it is in good condition> the sides are very good > this Sunset Soap Dyes Countertop Display Case could be used in a kitchen or office for sorting> there is the original paperwork on the wooden base > it measures 7 1/2 x 18 x 13 1/2 > all sections are intact _top, sides and base> this type of display case was found in the old general stores of the early 1900s> it is a great piece of nostalgic advertising
