I am cleaning out my mother's house and this "sign" was stored away in a box from one of my father's many antique buys> I have no personal information on the doctor other than my father bought this at an antique show in the 80s> it is a solid piece of white porcelain with black indented letters that show no wear> there is a slight piece(1/2") of wafer thin porcelain on the back upper left> otherwise no chips or cracks anywhere else on the sign > has hangers on the back > measures 10" long x 17.5 wide x .5 depth
