I have for sale a really rare men's mountain bike. It is a 1991 GT Team Avalanche in highly desirable "midnight aurora" colors. Made for only one year! Very nice, highest end bike for it's time in very good condition. Paint is beautiful! 20.5" Japanese made chrome moly tange tube prestige concept frame, 21 speeds with Shimano Deore DX front and rear derailleurs, Shimano Deore XT brakes and calipers, Shimano Deore XT rapid fire integrated trigger shifters, GT Duraluminum bar, matching factory GT neck and threadless stem, Shimano Deore XT crank arms with Shimano Deore Bio-Pace crankset, Shimano Deore DX hubs with Ritchey Vantage Comp aluminum quick release wheels, Ritchey gumwall tires, 2x4 fork, new seat (I do have the original GT seat ((last pic)) albeit not in the best shape hence the new seat). All new brake cables and shifter cables.
Bike is very nice and very original with very low hours and it shows. Overall no damage or issues. Paint still shines like new. Just tuned up. Completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed reassembled and adjusted. Needs nothing! Rides shifts and stops great. Still has all it's factory stickers!
This was a very rare bike in it's day and is even rarer today. Hard pressed to find another. I found two of them on eBay going for between $700-$900 and there's just a bare frame on there for $600!
You won't be disappointed, very nice shape for it's age. Very little usage, still retains 99% of it's original components!
I'm asking $750 for this very nice original bike. Collectors dream or get on and ride.
