Here is a Trek 7.2 FX Fitness Hybrid bike in 17.5". This Alpha Super Light Aluminum frame is in very good overall condition. I try and find the bad scratches and take pictures of them. There are some chips and scratches here and there. On the top tube, near the seat tube you can see that the paint has been worn away. This appears to have been caused by having a lock on the frame at this location. There are some smaller chips and scratches on the frame (see pictures). Obviously, these are all superficial and doesn't affect the ride of this bike. No dents, no dings, and the frame is straight. This Trek 7.2 FX Fitness Hybrid bike is in very good overall condition with Shimano components and Shimano trigger-type shifters. It has 24 gears (3 up front, and 8 in rear). As a former bicycle mechanic, I just gave it a thorough tune up. Washed bike, removed drivetrain, degreased, cleaned, lubed and reinstalled the drivetrain. This bike is ready to ride. I put the wheels in a truing stand, and they spin straight and round. Shifts, stops, and rides as it should. I installed new front and rear brake cables, along with associated housing, and installed front and rear shift cables, with associated housing. This tune up and labor would cost $150+ parts at any local bike shop, so please take that into consideration when purchasing.
This bike is still being sold as the FX 2, its MSRP is $899.99:
