I'm seeking 2-5 partners to form a fractional aircraft ownership in a PA-28 (Piper Warrior) or similar. Aircraft selection and base (WNY KBUF area) would be determined by the group. The objective is simply to make flying more affordable by sharing the cost. This share would function like a private flying club except the pilot to aircraft ratio is greatly reduced and when you sell your share that portion of your investment is returned to you. Guidance and examples of this style of ownership are online at www.aopa.org and from various existing flying clubs around the country.

This will be a legal, professional and transparent group process. The plane would be in an LLC or similar dependent upon tax implications. Each pilot would invest by purchasing a share and by paying their portion of the fixed monthly costs for hangar space and insurance. Hourly flying would be your fuel burn and a small hourly fee for wear items (TBO, oil change, prop, tires, brakes) on a prorated basis.
Please reply with any interest or questions. I can provide realistic examples of cost per share, month and hourly.
