I am cleaning out my mother's house and this pristine chess set was one of my father's purchases over the years > the chess set comes in an intricately carved wooden box that displays the dragon carvings once the folding box is opened > the box has brass handles and hinges for opening > the board itself consists of handpainted Chinese scenes>there are pull out trays on both sides with exquisite detailed resin figures that have never been removed and are firmly strapped > measure from 2.5", 23//4" & 4" > the chest itself measures 18" x18" when opened> the chest is in excellent condition with no scratches since it had only been stored
