I am cleaning out my mother's house and this cane was one of my father's favorite acquired canes> it is a truly unique piece in its presentation which is a figural fish head for the handrest and wrapped in highly detailed silverplate with a brasss "ribbon" running from top to bottom> near the top it is encrusted with a few natural stones > the cane itself is perfect with no dents or breaks> has been carefully wrapped and stored away for the last 30 years > measures 36" long with the "fish head" measuring 6 3/4" > it is truly a unique showpiece cane- an item of curiousity
