This heavy Brass Cauldron was one of the many antique pieces my father bought over 30 years ago and was sitting on back rack in the garage> I am now cleaning out my mother's house > this brass cauldron is not only heavy but X Large with the handle securely attached > measures 12.5" high x 18.5" wide > Hallmarked on the bottom - " B W Hayden's patent Dec 18,1851 -Manufactured by Ansonia Brass Co." > excellent for a place next to a fireplace storing wood/newspapers etc.
