This a rare Valenti of Spain all leather and brass gilt umbrella stand with a removable inside container> it is definitely a designer piece in true Valenti style > dates to mid century> the heavy brown cowhide leathers is all rivetedfrom top to bottom and all are heavily secure > the brass gilt lid and bottom are also heavily riveted to the stand> on the bottom the "Valenti - Spain" mark is found > it is one of those rare Valenti pieces for someone who truly appreciates quality with a utilitarian item> the handle is also heavy padded cowhide leather and riveted to the sides> large measuring 25 1/2" high x10" wide at the top and 8" at the base> there is a removable metal container that fits at the bottom to receive the water and protect the brass "floor" of the stand> it is mid century era > listed at Brownrigg Archive an exclusive designer store in the UK> overall excellent condition
