Meissen porcelain elongated oval two handled sauce boat with scalloped rim on stand in the Blue Onion pattern measuring approximately 9 Y2 inches x 8 Y2 inches long by 6 Y2 inches x 4 inches in wide in diameter by 3 Y2 inches x 2 Y2 inches x 7/8 inches high. The sauce boat is marked on the back with an under glaze blue cobalt Meissen crossed swords mark. There are no impressed marks evident. The blue cobalt decorators mark is "5". The quality of the design is distinct. There is a small pit in the bowl. There is a small chip to the rim of the boat at 11. There is a larger chip at 11/12. The overall condition of the serving bowl is a poor (due to the damage). The estimated value is approximately$270.00.
