This is a unique piece of art from the House of Ransu located in Elmhurst, New York> it is a mid century (1950s/1960s) example of the distinguished design of that time period> all their art was a one of a kind in representaion> this art work represents 4 Native American dancers involved in a creative dance sequence>>>each figure has been cut from exotic woods to color the images > the figures have been applied to the board so it has a 3D effect> it is artist signed in the lower left corner> the "art" has been mounted on a burlap board with the picture applied>because of age there is some fraying on the bottom right and left corners> the original labels are still on the back >this "painting" is in excellent condition for its age and definitely makes a statement to uniqueness > measures 34" wide x18 1/2" high
