This fan has been stored away for years and it works > it appears to be 1940s vintage in its original turquoise color > there are no broken parts and the wiring appears to be good . it could really use some steel wool to clean up the chipping of paint > it is extremely heavy and appears to be cast iron> the 9" blades appear to be copper> original metal tag is on the base > catalog 78X233 and made in the USA> swirly metal spikes on the cover and a bolt on the bottom to adjust the up and down level > measures 20" high and much smaller vintage GE fans go for much more
