This clock has been carefully wrapped and stored away for over 40 years > it was one of my father's antique purchase back in the 1980s>it is a mahogany case Seth Thomas clock in pristine condition from the case to the inside movement> the inside brass plate has inscribed on the Bottom " Seth Thomas, Thomaston ,Conn. 113 A and the # below it appears to be 15550(?) > the pendulum is on the inside > the front dial is an intricate design brass plate that includes 2 dials to regulate the chime > this clock has definitely been well preserved since it dates to the late 1800s> the clock is a 113 A model known for its elegant design and craftsmanship> the case has no chips or cracks > it is an outstanding piece of early time keeping that presents an eye appealing presence on any mantle or table> it is a mechanical clock and I have not tested it
