One Meissen porcelain large oval fish serving tray with an undulating piecrust outline in the Blue Onion pattern with the following measurements. The serving tray measures approximately 24 inches long by 11 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches high. The serving tray is marked on the back with an under glaze blue cobalt Meissen crossed swords mark with two incised horizontal lines through the mark
indicating this was a factory second. It has an impressed under glaze mark of "72" followed a second impressed mark of "64". There are two sets of blue cobalt decorators marks of "LO" and "41 ". The quality of the design is distinct. There is no evident damage, but there are numerous small iron oxide and cobalt spots to the white areas of the medallion. The overall condition of the serving tray is a fair due to the blemishes. The estimated secondary market retail replacement value is approximately $638.00.
