I am cleaning out my mother's house and this was one of the clocks my father had stored away from his estate finds> it has been wrapped and stored away for over 30 years > it is a rather unique clock in its design of a "Tudor Castle" with flying medieval flag > has intricate detail from top to bottom> has lion's head logo at bottom > there are scrolls below the clock> no hallmarks can be found> the clock mechanism appears not to be working but it also has not been wound in decades > the "castle" frame of the clock is definitely unique and one of a kind > it is stamped inside as patented September 22, 1885> measures 13" high x 9" wide
