Last year I came across a great apartment that was near the school. (It is located at 195 Mead Street if you would like to google it... ) The apartment has a kitchen that opens up into the living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. Each of the bedrooms have closets and then there is a closet in the kitchen and in the hallway. The spare bedroom is roughly 15X15. The apartment is kind of plain, it has all white carpet with white walls, but I find that the basic nature of the apartment is easy and simple to decorate. The extra bedroom is a nice size, my bedroom is shown below. The extra bedroom is white like mine and also nice. I have looked at many apartments and feel that this apartment is pretty standard. There is a coin operated laundry facility and extra storage in the basement. Also, parking for two cars.

However, this apartment is only $500 a month. The water is covered by the landlord and the heat is electric. With Wi-fi the most that I have ever paid is $310.00 and that includes heat! My current roommate just got a job out of state and I am not sure if I will be able to find someone to move in or not. I am not opposed to moving and have been looking at apartments, just feel like what I already have is the best value and fit for me. It is a five minute drive to school, clean, and quiet.

Personally, I love granite countertops and ceramic floors... this is not that type of apartment. The countertops in the kitchen are a light yellow, which I really dislike, but my landlord said that he would be willing to replace them. My boyfriend and I just put a new floor in the kitchen and a new vanity in the bathroom. Rent is very low so I haven't minded buying things for the apartment that add value and quality to my life. Because of this I am on great terms with the landlord. The bathroom is very utilitarian, but I added nice sea foam green colors and sea shell photos to add character. I also have a very interesting, modern living room area rug (over $400) that adds a nice artistic dimension to the place. The kitchen and living room are divided by a half wall, and because of this I have an earth tone, italian type theme going on... very subdued. I have a good sized TV, not very new because I don't watch a lot of TV with a DVD player and a classy wooden television stand. TV is in storage but I could bring it up if someone wanted to watch TV. I have a very large cat tower too! The kitchen also has an ample amount of cupboards and I have a buffet for additional space. I am lacking living room furniture because the roommate is leaving but would be willing to buy some, there are a lot of furniture warehouse stores around. I basically have everything else for life, tons of kitchen things... juicer, cotton candy maker, omg u name it i feel like I have it, brand new microwave, George foreman grill, blender, Pyrex dishes...

I am hoping to find someone that would like to move in with me, I would be willing to share everything I have and make some friends along the way...

I am a very nice girl, a junior at school and love my life. I am super easy to get along with, love to decorate, work out, shop, succeed at school. Just because I want to be an engineer doesn't mean I am a butch type at all. I am very girlie and fun. I love to watch movies, do facials, dance, idk just normal stuff... My priority right now is to do well in school.

I am looking for a roommate ASAP. The house is located in the city of Buffalo, on a pretty small street (not many homes), in a great neutral location (Hertel area), mere minutes from all the major thruways, and less than 10 minutes from downtown Buffalo.

I am an incredibly reasonable guy. The 2 roommates living in the house now have been for a while, and they're great guys. If you are clean, respectful, and responsible like them, I'm sure we would get along phenomenal. Everyone works/goes to school, and they are very, very quiet. Almost too quiet, it's a big house for 2 people.

I should also mention I have owned this house for just over 2 years, and bought it from a friend who owned it for over 10 years. In that entire tenure, there has NEVER been any kind of theft, robbery or break-in attempt ever. I'm looking for a roommate to share my 2nd floor walkup (no elevator boo!). The apartment is an old school true buffalo flat, with a full living room, dining room, kitchen, even a study that we can decide what to do with. The apartment was a luxurious front porch that isn't so useful right about now, and is on a quiet little street with outgoing mature neighbors who again you won't really see for another few months. I really like living here.

The room i am offering is not big, but it has a closet, and a door, and a window.

I am a 32yo dude who likes girls, goes to school, works in a restaurant and does a lot of other stuff not related to any of the prior. I am very clean, honest and mature, and i don't like smoke too much.

So i'm looking for another human, preferably non-smoking, who can keep the sink free of dirty dishes and the bathroom free of their discarded undergarments. Preferably you'll have your own life already, be able to live without cable tv, and hopefully you'll be a bring-up, as opposed to a bring-down.

The rent is $300, my share is $350. We split utilities and pay $10 each for wifi. The room is available 1/15/10. You'll also need to pay a $300 security with the 1st months rent.
