Description: Ulbrich’s Garden Center, a leading WNY garden center is looking for exceptional customer service candidates to join our team. Our comprehensive program includes management and operational training as well as a built in horticultural educational program.
This position allows experienced retail personnel, with horticulture knowledge to join Ulbrich’s as a Garden Center Coach while training both on the job and in the classroom in areas such as operations, customer service, visual merchandising, product knowledge and much more.
This position will be responsible for visual merchandising, cashier duties, assigned daily tasks and a strong focus on customer service. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60#. Prior forklift training and certification a plus; Completion of this training is a must.
This is a full-time temporary seasonal position located within our garden center.
Requirements Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
*3-5 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment
*3-5 years of retail sales experience
*3-5 years of customer service experience
This position requires a dedication to continued learning and personal development. Prior horticultural and nursery/garden center experience is not required but is preferred. We remain dedicated to the training and development of new personnel through a comprehensive and intense training process.
