My views are mostly libertarian but with progressive leanings. I have
been politically active all my life...including as presidential elector
for Ross Perot in 1992. I was also an elector in NJ for Shirley Chisholm
prior to her loss in the primaries of 1972. Some of you (at least in the
Southern Tier of NY) already know me. I will take on Mr. Charles Ellis
Schumer (et.al.) in the next U.S. Senate race in New York in 2010.
I will run for office as an independent (not as an Independence Party
member although I am hoping to build alliances there as well as with my
Libertarian and Green Party friends, etc.) I may well - as Abe
Hirschfeld did in 2004 - have to invent a party for myself, in which case
I'll probably call it "Common Sense" to honor one of my American heroes:
Thomas Paine. However to win, I will need the majority of Republican and
Democratic votes and I expect to meet enough New Yorkers to earn them.
Until my website and forums are ready, I am using Facebook to help
organize my support and plan further campaign strategies. Find my group
there and join up if you possibly can to help spread the word. This is a
grassroots campaign in the extreme. I shall run as a populist, anti-
corruption, anti-war, pro-U.S. Constitution candidate - while advocating
for a smaller, gentler, and less intrusive government - and I will win.

next 2 1/2 years to meet with anyone or any group that wants to meet me.
If you really want to help, join this Facebook group and also pass this
message along to others who are also tired of the "two-party"
stranglehold on our electoral process. I cannot possibly fix the current
American Crisis we face alone, but I may help to show the way for other
independents to take charge and take our country back!
