The Beaulieu R16 PZ 'Automatic' is a handheld standard 16mm cinema camera. It shoots 2-64fps, with a highly accurate 24/25fps. Speed is electronically regulated for the possibility of sync sound, with the sync pulse generator (not included). This camera comes with the famed Angenieux 12-120 Zoom Lens (with variable power zoom control unit) and is equipped with a reflex viewfinder. The camera is also capable of automatic exposure. It takes 100' internal spools, and, with the use of the very rare detachable 200' magazine (included), it also takes 200' spools.

This camera also has been modified and has a 26 pin output jack on the top (shown in the photos with a dummy plug protecting the jack). I believe this is for external monitoring, although I am unsure: I have not used this jack and it was installed multiple owners ago, in 1994. Assuming it is an internal video tap, this is an extremely rare and valuable modification.

The most notable film shot with this model is Chris Marker's "Sans Soleil." It is available on Google Video (low res, free) and the Criterion Collection website (high res, $5). "Clerks," while not shot on a Bealieu, was also shot on standard 16mm.

Known Issues with this camera:

1. The needle reading the internal light meter, located within the viewfinder, has been moved outside of view by a prior owner. Through a simple service procedure, the needle could be repositioned. However, due to the age of the photovoltaic cell, it is unlikely the internal light meter reads accurately anyway, rendering the needle a useless and distracting obstruction in the viewfinder. The same general idea, an aged photovoltaic cell, goes for the auto exposure as well...unless you are using this camera for ENG in the field (which would be completely absurd) it would be much better and more precise to meter externally; I wouldn't trust the auto exposure.

2. The eyecup could be replaced, there is a crack in it. However, it still functions.

I got a perfect condition Canon S90 for sell. I bought it on the first day when it came out in Bestbuy. Thus it is only 3 months old.
Admittedly this small camera, packed with 1/1.7" sensor and F2.0 lens, is the best compact camera so far. It has full manual control with two control rings, and ISO up to 12,800.
For me it seems grass is always greener on the other side. I decided to go super wide angle with Panasonic LX3 (however I'll totally lose the medium to telephone that S90 has).
I cannot afford to keep multiple compact cameras thus I am selling it for good.

It comes with retail box, warranty, charger, etc. etc. Plus a Microsoft soft bag I found perfectly fits this little camera.
