what do i charge for child care?

i read some of the other postings about child care rates but if im correct, isn't it a lot to expect more than $150 per week for one child? please don't attack me and call me crazy, i just would like to know an appropriate amount to charge a family for child care in my home or in theirs per child? per day? per hour? how is it normally done?
