Request of families seeking nannies, sitters, etc. (Buffalo and beyond)

There are several wonderful people using craigslist to help find their ideal job of working with children, including myself. We do get excited when you post a listing in search of a nanny/babysitter/childcare provider because we are hoping that maybe you'll be our perfect "family-match."
If you've changed your mind or you've found your perfect nanny or you are really just trying to test the waters to see what's available here, please be so kind as to note that in your post or to reply to our emails just to let us know you've gotten our email of interest. It's confusing when we are interested in the position you have posted and we send you a relatively lengthy email to introduce ourselves and to show interest and then get no response at all, repeatedly.
One more request, when you have potential nannies driving out to your house for an interview please notify us when you've chosen someone else for the job so that we aren't waiting and wondering. Even a brief email would be appreciated.
This is a request for the basic respect that you would want from us. Most of us are very decent and honest people just trying to find a job doing something we love to do.
