The Buffalo D&D Meetup

Our purpose? Simple! Meet other local Dungeons & Dragons players for adventures and fun! Come to a Dungeons & Dragons Meetup to explore fantastic worlds, clash with dark monsters, spin lore and commit heroic feats while playing the greatest RPG of all time! Who should join? Fans of v3.5 of Dungeons & Dragons looking for a fun, casual, and exciting game! As the only current DM, I really don't expect people to talk "in-character", dress like a druid, and have a 30 page backstory about your character before we play (I'm exaggerating for clarity). Heck, I'll have pre-generated characters for you, if you want - the main idea is to grab a d20 and focus on glory and fame. I'm even going to structure the game so that if you don't want to play a lot, no problem --- and if you show-up to every single meetup, no problem either! My ultimate goal? Current plans are just to simply start-up a good local group that everybody should feel comfortable & welcome at. I've got some more ambitious plans sketched-out (Having multiple groups, with different DMs, all "sharing" the same world - and events from all the games crossing-over would be utterly cool, but I'm getting ahead of myself...)

Mostly going to be a meet-and-greet session, with introductions all around, and some talking. Most likely roll-up new characters and discuss plans. Panera doesn't mind if we meet there as long as we buy a coffee or soda or whatever.
