Having a touch (full contact blocking) football tryout June 8th @ 5:00 for the JFK football league. The league starts July 19th and continues through the fall. We are looking for players at any skill level to try out, there are plenty of openings. The league is very competitive with a total of 8 teams:
Games are played on regulation fields (waterfront, timon, jfk (downtown), ralph wilson field house for playoffs)
4 officials
8 man field with lineman eligible as receivers
15 minute running quarters
12 game regular season and playoffs
Season ending Banquet is held
Extensive Awards for team & individual performance.
The cost is minimal (usually $50-$75per/plyr) if any depending on how many players are on the roster and if we have a benefit. If interested email me asap or call 5631392 (ask for Al or leave mess.) so i can give you further information before our tryout June 8th
